Every gift to SCAF helps strengthen our community. Your donation supports local nonprofits, scholarships for students and adult learners, community grants, and programs that improve the quality of life in our region.
Whether you choose to contribute to a specific fund or our General Operating Fund, your generosity fuels projects and initiatives that create lasting impact.

Every gift, large or small, helps our community thrive. You decide where your impact matters most.
SCAF makes giving simple and secure:
As a Hometown Sustainer, your financial gifts support the work and daily functions of the Stanwood-Camano Area Foundation, so that we can continue to provide programs that impact the residents of the Stanwood-Camano Community. Monthly gifts sustain our community all year long!

Recommend a grant to the Stanwood-Camano Area Foundation from your Donor Advised Fund, and then let us know how you would like those funds to impact the community.
A qualified charitable distribution (QCD) is a distribution of funds from your IRA directly to a qualified charitable organization. If you are 70 1/2 or older, you can request a QCD to benefit SCAF. Individuals with required minimum distributions can potentially receive tax benefits as allowed by law. Be sure to let us know your intentions, as QCD disbursements do not always include the donor's name.
Your broker can assist you in making a gift of stock via a direct transfer to SCAF. The gift can be made to support any fund we manage or toward our operating needs. Contact us for transfer information.
Partner with SCAF to give back. We seek sponsors who share our passion for our community and can benefit from the additional publicity that a partnership with SCAF provides.
Planned giving and legacy gifts allow you to support the causes you care about while leaving a lasting mark on the community. Your legacy can fund scholarships, grants, or general programs — ensuring SCAF strengthens Stanwood-Camano for generations to come.

Our program allows individuals, families, groups, or businesses to offer scholarships without creating their own award process. The deadline to establish a new scholarship for the following application cycle is Dec. 1 (High School) or May 1 (Adult).
