The Stanwood-Camano Area Foundation is committed to fostering and promoting a culture of philanthropy in our local community. We work with community members, businesses, and other local non-profit organizations to connect people who care with the causes and initiatives that matter most to them. We build a healthy, sustainable community through a variety of programs that provide basic needs, promote arts & culture, support education, and enhance quality of life.
These scholarships are for high school seniors who either reside within the boundaries of the Stanwood-Camano School District or attend high school within the District. Home-schooled students residing within the District are eligible, as are private school students who attend a school outside of the area but live in the Stanwood-Camano School District.
Who Is Eligible to Apply?
Nonprofit Organizations – Any active 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization with a project in need of funding that directly benefits the community is eligible to apply. (Organization must be listed as active on the IRS exempt organization verification site, https://apps.irs.gov/app/eos.)
The Stanwood-Camano Area Foundation will present four philanthropy awards to outstanding individuals and businesses at the Philanthropist of the Year Awards Breakfast on March 28, 2025.
Nominations are due January 31.
Floyd & Delores Jones Spirit of Philanthropy Award
This award honors an individual, couple, or family who exhibit a deep commitment and heartfelt dedication to philanthropy.
